I found this course to be helpful. The use of nitrous oxide is being used all over and for the dental staff to be able to understand will help the us to talk to the patients and parents on the effects and affects of this. I cant wait to sit in on the next procedure and to be able to monitor my next patient.

Very interesting update regarding Nitrous Oxide. I felt the information was clear, concise and well presented with boxes, etc.

Some of the recommendations would be very difficult to implement without charging a much higher fee for nitrous than is typically charged. The recommendation to have two dental office employees in the room with a patient on nitrous is one example. The use of a stethoscope to evaluate the patient's airway would not take a lot of time, but seems of questionable value.

As I indicated above, I think that this subject matter was an excellant topic to review. More and more patients are requesting nitrous, but I know that many offices do not follow some of the saftey measures reported. The review of contraindcations is always an important subject matter to review as well. We must insure that our main goal is the patient's well being first.

Very informative and interesting. Some items are new and some needed reiterating. I have done these courses before and they are excellent as you may constantly refer back to an issue for any questions.
